Dear Editor:
What does the Lafayette community want? At every meeting concerning 100 Monitor Street, there have been far more neighborhood supporters for a charter school being built on that site than there have been opponents.
June Jones likes to say that her opposition to charter schools is shared by the Lafayette community. But in supporting a charter school at 100 Monitor Street, Mayor Schundler is listening to the true voice of the community.
