Dear Editor:
Many thanks to your newspaper for providing the means for me to sincerely thank those residents who supported me with their votes on election day. The number of votes I received, against difficult odds, convinced me that I am on the right track in terms of what issues are important to so many residents. I hope our mayor and council will take my proposals to heart, because to ignore them is to ignore the wishes of 843 voters.
I hope Councilman Grecco will continue to serve the residents of the 1st Ward as diligently as he did during the campaign. I would like to renew my intention to serve as the eyes, ears and voice of those same residents.
Campaigning for office has been a rewarding experience, due mostly to the fact that I became acquainted with so many of residents of Secaucus, virtually all of whom were both cordial and receptive to my proposals.
