Dear Editor:
I just wanted to express my appreciation to all the residents who participated in the Elks car wash on Saturday, Sept. 8th. Thanks to all the kind and generous people who volunteered to help out, who had their cars washed, or who simply gave a few dollars as they passed by. The money raised from this event will be used for a worthy cause to help handicapped children.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this a successful event.
