Dear Editor: The Secaucus Public Library extends a special note of thanks to everyone who helped make National Library Week such a success. The Friends of the Library held a beautiful program at which time we acknowledged all our volunteers. A special thank you to Mayor Elwell and the Town Council for the use of the Senior Citizen Center for our festivities and for taking time out to join us that day. Secaucus PBA Local 84 and Kiwanis Club of Secaucus donated beautiful books that were distributed free to all children who visited the library during the week of April 9. Newscaster Brian Williams of MSNBC also donated a large collection of new books to the new library. This partnership for literacy is an example of the support we receive and appreciate at the library. We certainly want to acknowledge our wonderful patrons who used This opportunity to offer their own words of encouragement. We are all very grateful. Katherine Steffens Director
