Dear Editor: We are doing research reports in my fifth grade class and I will be reporting on New Jersey. The reports are due in May and on topics such as geography, industry, and tourism. The reason I am writing to you is to ask if you could publish my letter in your paper. I am hoping some of your readers in your community will write to me and tell me about New Jersey. I live in Southern California; I am sure many things about New Jersey are different from where I live. Also, if any readers find time to reply, it would be great if they enclose a copy of my “published” letter.
